My name is Hannah Hollamby, and I’m an Associate Director at BioTalent, specialising in recruiting Clinical Development medics for the DACH region. My team, Strategic Development, supports growing biotechnology and mid-sized pharma companies with key strategic hires from early discovery to launch.
The Beginning of My BioTalent Journey
BioTalent caught my attention back in 2020. Inspired by James Cox and Nicholas Boyle while at a previous recruitment company, I was impressed by how BioTalent had already made a significant impact on the life sciences recruitment market despite being founded just a couple of years earlier. When James and I began discussions, it quickly became clear that BioTalent is a determined and professional organisation, providing best-in-class service to its customers and clients.

Since becoming a manager in 2021, I’ve learned something new every day. Being a billing manager is challenging but highly rewarding, and BioTalent has supported my personal growth, leading to two management promotions in three years. With full P&L responsibility, I can manage and run my business unit with autonomy and am empowered to make decisions that have the best impact on the team.

My management style is built on consistency and doing the basics brilliantly every day. My team and I work together, holding each other accountable to our goals and objectives, and enjoying our time in the office. We make the most of the food and drink establishments around the Liverpool Street area, balancing hard work with fun.
